MEETING GRANDMA MEG

Welcome to Grandma Meg Speaks. Are you listening?

I am Grandma Meg and this is my first time blogging. I am always thinking about how I would address Social, Political, Education, The Economy, and so many more issues.

I am a Pre-Baby Boomer, and I believed for too many years that I was not entitled to truly voice my opinions.  I, recently, discovered that I Have A Voice and I thought a blog would be the perfect avenue in which to express myself. That being said, these are my opinions based on my personal experiences. Should you read my blog?  Yes, I encourage you to do so. However, I would like for readers to keep an open mind.

As the talented actor, David Niven said, "Never stop learning and adapting.  The world will always be changing.  If you limit yourself to what you knew and what you were comfortable with earlier in your life, you will grow increasingly frustrated with your surroundings as you age."

I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Masters Degree in Education. In addition, my name appears in Who's Who Among America's Teachers.

I am a proponent of lifetime learning. I continue to audit courses at the local university. I find them interesting and challenging at the same time. It is awesome attending classes with young adults. I do believe they cannot grasp the fact that I love learning and studying. Moreover, it is a hoot being back in the classroom as a student.

There it is, my rationale for being a new-be on the blogging circuit.

For now, I shall probably post one blog a week.

Until we meet again,

Grandma Meg
